He was a member of the Quick Response Team appointed after the incident. After seeing the heartbreaking sight, he had a heart attack. Then he died. His death was confirmed at Itah Medical College.
More than a hundred people have died. Several people remain in critical condition. All the bodies have been taken for post-mortem. According to reports, his mental state worsened when he saw the corpses of around 100 people lying there as if they had been piled up and he suffered a heart attack.
“He was shocked to see so many people, especially women, lying dead. We were all working and suddenly he stopped. We immediately rushed him to the hospital. But he died before it was delivered. Doctors say that this may have been the death due to acute trauma. “Seeing so many dead bodies must have broken his heart” – this is what doctor Lalit Chaudhary says. He was also on duty at the scene.
