Mother and boyfriend sentenced to life imprisonment in case of murder of Plus One student. Verdict in the Nedumangad Meera murder case. The court ruled that the mother and her boyfriend strangled their daughter and threw her into a well. The incident took place in Thiruvananthapuram. He was sentenced to rigorous imprisonment for life and a fine of three and a half lakh rupees each. The order was given by Thiruvananthapuram Sixth Additional District Sessions Court Judge K Vishnu. If the fine is not paid, the accused will have to undergo an additional year of imprisonment.

He killed his own daughter by strangling her with the help of her boyfriend. The dead body was placed between the two on Anish's bike and dumped in a pothole in a deserted field in Karipur.
