Malaikottai Valiban directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery is going to hit the theaters soon. Mohanlal recently shared the details of the movie in a function related to the promotion of the movie. In this interview, along with many relevant questions, a question about the theatrical experience of the film was raised. Mohanlal’s reply to this is now going viral on social media. ‘As I said when I met you last time, this is a timeless film. A movie like folk tale. We believe it presents itself on a larger canvas. I don’t believe that such a genre of film has been created in Indian cinema. Craft wise aside, it has everything a story needs. All human emotions have been added to it’ Mohanlal opened up about his film.
It is not possible to say whether it happened in Kerala or where it happened in India. It just says shot on large canvas. It is a film that gave me great satisfaction as an actor. When the story was told to me, I jumped quickly because that story was like that. I have known Lijo and his films for many years.’ He continued. Meanwhile, one of the media workers was asking if the theater would shake. ‘I hear people say that the theater will shake, but when I ask what the lullaby has to say, I can’t say whether it will shake. It seems that there will be no problem. And it is the way of presentation. It is a skill. Now if you watch the movie, you can say no. Don’t come and tell me that I’m not shivering anymore’ replied Laletan in his usual style.
‘This is a film that I and these people are making together, leaving aside the talent and the phenomenon. Actors have no choice but to come and do. I feel lucky to have a movie like this. This movie is a theatrical experience. That’s why we suffered for a year.’Malaikottai Valiban is the first film where Lijo Jose Pellissery and Mohanlal are teaming up.
