50th Kerala State Film Awards announced The announcement was made by Culture Minister AK Balan. Director and cinematographer Madhu Ambat presided over the jury. Best Makeup Man – Ranjith Ambati, Helen
Best Dubbing Artist – Vineet, Vivek Oberoi – Lucifer
Best Popular and Artistic Movie – Kumbalangi Knights, Madhu C Narayanan
Best Debut Director – Ratheesh Puthuvad, Android Kunjappan
Best Children’s Film – Nani
Special Jury Award – Siddhartha Priyadarshan, Maraikkar Lion of the Arabian Sea
Special Jury Mention – Dr. Dakshinamurthy, Music Director
Nivin Pauly’s performance in Moothon, Anna Benn’s performance in Helen and Kumbalangi Nights also received a Special Jury Mention.
