Meghna is a notable star in many movies and serials in Tamil and Malayalam. Meghna has been working in the serial field since 2010. Now Meghna has revealed the number of sarees for the role of Amrita in Chandana Mazha. In an interview with Behindwoods Eyes, Meghna opened up about the clothes she bought for her characters after starting to act in the serial. I gave some of the sarees I bought for the serial to many people. I reused some of them. All the plain sarees with only borders I made into churidar. The churidars in the current serial are thus sewn from old sarees for reuse. A lot of sarees have been bought for Chandanamha. It’s a serial with so many episodes… we need new sarees every month.
I have bought sarees as per my wish. Worn sarees are sometimes worn again in the same series. But still buy some sarees anyway. Because there was a day when I changed up to twenty sarees while acting in the serial. Meghna said that there should be more than a thousand sarees. Meghna’s sarees and churidars have many fans. Like Meghna, Devi Chandana and Seema G Nair have a large collection of sarees after starting their serials. Seema recently shared the details of her saree collection and said that she owns around 3,000 sarees. As in movies, costumes are not given to actors in serials from the location.
