Veteran Mollywood director Sibi Malayil is teaming up with the actors Roshan Mathew and Asif Ali for his next political thriller titled ‘Kotthu’. The makers now released the trailer of the film.
Asif Ali will be playing a politician character named Shalu in ‘Kotthu’ and Roshan Mathew essays the role of his best friend who is a village boy and an impulsive youngster who would go to any extent for his party.
Actress Nikhila Vimal will be playing the female lead character in the movie and the film boasts a strong supporting cast that includes Vijilesh, Suresh Krishna, and Sreelakshmi.
‘Kotthu’ is touted to be a political thriller written by Hemanth Kumar and bankrolled by the production banner of Ranjith and PM Sasidharan. The film will release in theatres on September 23.
