Triple Lock Down is imposed in Ernakulam district, Kerala from midnight on 17th May 2021. Guideline on Triple Lockdown in Ernakulam District has been released.
Triple Lock Down Restrictions & Guidelines in Ernakulam District are as follows:
1. Grocery stores, bakeries, fruit and vegetable shops, fish supply shops, poultry shops and cold storage are open from 8 am to 2 pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Maximum home delivery system should be promoted.
2. The public should buy essential items from the nearest shop to the house. You will not be allowed to travel long distances to purchase these.
3. Street vending is not allowed in the district
4. Hotels and restaurants may be open for home delivery only from 8am to 7.30pm. No takeaways or parcel service allowed.
5. Delivery of milk, newspaper and post should be completed before 8 am. Milk storage can be done till 2 pm.
6. Ration shops, public distribution centers, Maveli stores, Supplyco shops, etc. may be open daily till 5 pm. Medical stores, petrol pumps, ATMs, life-saving equipment shops, hospitals, and clinics are all normally open.
