A vehicle carrying Sabarimala pilgrims overturned in Laha injuring 18 people in the accident. There are reports that a child’s condition is critical. The pilgrims were from Andhra Pradesh.
The injured were admitted to Pathanamthitta General Hospital. There were 40 people in the bus. 10 people were trapped under the bus in the accident. Out of this, seven people were rescued by the locals.
The accident occurred when the vehicle was turning a bend in Laha. While turning, the vehicle lost control and overturned.
