Chennai: The medical bulletin says that the health condition of the political leader and actor Vijayakanth, who is undergoing treatment, is not satisfactory.
The medical bulletin states that Vijayakanth continues to have lung problems and will have to stay in the hospital for at least two more weeks.
He is currently in a private hospital in Chennai. Vijayakanth has been seeking treatment at the hospital since last 18th.
Later, the news came that he was being treated on a ventilator. But his party DMDK rejected the news. It was also informed that he will be discharged soon.
But the medical bulletin coming out now says that he will have to stay in the hospital for another 14 days
Meanwhile, Vijayakanth is coming to the silver screen with the film Ilamai. He played the role of a villain and became an actor with the movie Sattam Oru Uttarai. Directed many hit films. Finally, Vijayakanth came to be known in the film world as Captain.
Vijayakanth, the founder of the DMDK, contested the 2006 assembly elections but the party managed to win only one seat. In 2011, the actor faced the elections with DMK. Vijayakanth later became the Leader of the Opposition. Now his wife leads the party.
