Thrissur: Hindu Seva Kendra Secretary Sriraj R. criticized the Akshatham worshiped in Ayodhya and given to Mammootty. He asks why a Muslim who does not keep a lamp in his house is worshiped as Akshatham in Ayodhya.

Meanwhile, Mammootty received the axtam from Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Mammootty received the axtam that was worshiped in Ayodhya in front of the Guruvayur temple from Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
His wife Sulfat also received Akshatham. Along with Mammootty, other stars like Mohanlal, Jayaram, Dileep, Bijumenon, Shaji Kailas and others were also given Akshatham. Akshatham was handed over to the stars when they came to attend the wedding of Suresh Gopi’s daughter at the Guruvayur temple.
