Opposition Leader VD Satheesan asked why the Chief Minister congratulated the police for finding the child in Kollam
The accused dropped the child in front of the police. VD Satheesan also criticized that the police have not been able to catch the accused so far.
BJP president K Surendran also criticized the police. K Surendran pointed out that the Kerala Police has seriously failed in the investigation of the case.
Surendran pointed out that although fortunately the baby was recovered, the lapses in the police investigation cannot be ignored.
The police conducted the biggest search for the child that Kerala has seen in recent times. The Chief Minister praised the police and said that thousands of policemen participated in the investigation.
