Telugu star Mahesh Babu has fans across the country and many also expect him to appear in Bollywood too. However, it seems that the actor has a clarity on his career.
Mahesh Babu on Thursday attended a public event in Hyderabad and was asked about his debut in Bollywood.
Responding to the question, Mahesh Babu said, ” I don’t need to do Hindi films. I can just do a Telugu film and it’ll get seen all over the world – that’s what’s happening right now. You would want to be in a position where you do only Telugu films.”
Mahesh says that he is committed to doing films in Telugu and his film with ‘Baahubali’ director SS Rajamouli will be his first pan-India release. The actor back in 2011 had said that he wants to take Tollywood to the global stage. He also made an indirect reference to how Telugu films like ‘RRR’ and ‘Baahubali’ have gone great guns in the Hindi market.
The super stylish actor will be next seen in ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’ directed by Parasuram Petla is slated to release on May 12. The film also features Keerthy Suresh in the female lead.
