A woman has come forward and accused her husband and mother-in-law of forcing her to strip naked for black magic. Chadayamangalam police have taken the two people into custody. The incident happened in 2016. But the police refused to take any action.
However, a case was registered when the woman lodged a complaint again at Chadayamangalam police station after the Elanthoor human sacrifice case surfaced. She also stated in her complaint that a person named Abdul Jabbar was constantly assaulting her sexually since her marriage and her husband’s family facilitated this.
Another accused Nilamel Siddique had torn her clothes and when she complained it to her husband, he said that it was a part of the black magic. The woman moved a divorce petition after three months of marriage and the legal procedures are underway.
