YouTube has come up with new update, in which it has brought a feature – ‘Take a Break’. The feature, which was announced during the Google I/O 2018, is meant for devices running on Android. The feature, as the name indicates, is meant for taking a scheduled break, while watching a video in YouTube. Users can set a reminder to appear on a particular interval of time – 15, 30, 60, 90 or 180 minutes. While playing the video, YouTube pauses at these intervals helps users taking a break.

Users can either dismiss the reminder or continue watching the video. Along with this feature, YouTube has also rolled out two more features, ‘Disable Sounds & Vibrations’ and ‘Scheduled Digest’. While the former is meant for disabling notification sounds from YouTube, the latter is for letting users to get notifications on a particular time, once a day.
