Many areas of Tamil Nadu have been experiencing heavy waterlogging for the past few days. Chenna, Thiruvallur, Kanchipuram and Chengalpet are experiencing heavy rainfall. All these areas were submerged due to heavy rains.
Roads and railway tracks are all flooded. With that, the traffic in Chennai city has become chaotic. There is now a large amount of damage due to the waterlogging caused by the rain. It is known that a water pond has formed near Superstar Rajinikanth’s residence.
His luxurious residence is located in Poe’s Garden. It can be known that water has entered here as well. Efforts to release the water are now in progress. But Rajinikanth has not yet made any response on this issue.
Typhoon Mishong occurred in the year 2023. This was followed by heavy rains. So water was entering his residence. The government has advised that people should not leave their homes unnecessarily. According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rain will continue for two more days. In the northern districts, all government institutions except essential services have been declared closed. Southern Railway has canceled four express trains including Chennai Central – Mysore Cauvery Express. Many trains to Chennai have been diverted. Domestic flights from Chennai have also been cancelled.
