The makers cast Urvashi in the film Muthu, but Rajinikanth, who was not even known to the makers, called Urvashi and told her not to do this film, which was done for the good of the actress, which later benefited Urvashi.

Muthu is one of the biggest super hits of Rajinikanth’s career. Malayali’s favorite Meena is the heroine in this movie. Urvashi was the first to decide to play a character in this film. But due to Rajinikanth’s stubbornness, Urvashi was replaced. Ramesh Khanna, who worked as an assistant director of the film Muthu, reveals the reason for this. Muthu is a remake of Thenmavin Kompath. This movie was released in the year 1995.

Urvashi first came to play the role of Padmini. Urvashi then had the image of a girl who did some mischief and pranks. Therefore, the makers realized that Urvashi was suitable for this role. But during the filming of this movie, there were some incidents. So, Superstar Rajinikanth called Urvashi over the phone saying that this actress should not act in this film.

Do you know why? Rajinikanth took such a decision because of the problem Rajinikanth has with Urvashi. Rather it was only for their career growth. It is believed that it later became good for Urvashi.

Urvashi was a budding actress at that time. But Urvashi was only slated for a supporting role in this film. Urvashi was seen as the daughter of actor Radha Ravi. Rachanikanth said that Urvashi was not needed for this film because it was only a small story. So instead of Urvashi, actress Subhasree played the role.
