Soon after increasing the character limit for messages, Twitter is getting ready for further expansion. Reportedly, the micro blogging site is working on increasing the size of the messages, though the character limit remains the same. The new feature to be known as ‘Tweetstorm’, however is not an unfamiliar one for the users of Twitter. Back in September, a developer discovered a hidden feature in the Android app of the micro blogging site; the feature, which allowed users to send several tweets one by one – in effect creating a volley of messages, which coined the word ‘Tweetstorm’.
As per the reports, twitter is testing on both the alpha and beta programmes on iOS and Android platforms.
