Giving more details about verified and unverified business accounts, WhatsApp has included an interesting option in the FAQ section. Titled as ‘Chatting with business’, the option will give more insight to the type of the account, such as whether the contact is using a business account or not. If the contact comes under the ‘Verified Account’ type, then a green check mark badge would be appearing on it. On the other hand, if it happens to be an unverified account, then, it would be a grey coloured badge that is going to be indicated by WhatsApp.
Earlier, it was in September, which WhatsApp introduced the business app. Announcing that the primary purpose of the move is to provide more space for the companies, which have official WhatsApp accounts. It must be added that the business app could be run in a parallel note with that of the regular app.
