Police arrested an 18-year-old man who went to Jharkhand with a 13-year-old girl. The incident took place in Palakkad’s Kozhinjampara . A native of Pazaniyarpalayam, B. Akash (18) was arrested by the Kozhinjampara police in Jharkhand.
The incident happened on October 7 when the minor girl failed to return home after school time. Further based on the complaint filed by the girl’s mother, the police launched an investigation and found that they are in Jharkhand. Then Kozhinjampara police reached Ranchi district and caught hold of them.
After the medical examination, it is revealed that the girl has been victim to rape and has sent for counselling. The accused, Akash has been remanded.
