Ducati India is all set to launch the 2018 Ducati Monster 821 in India. Though unconfirmed, the sources suggest that the bike would be launched towards the end of May or early part of June. Revealed last year, the 2018 Ducati Monster 821 will be complying with the Bharat Stage IV (BS IV) emission regulations. Essentially sporting a more muscular design than the previous outing, the 2018 Ducati Monster 821 would have a full colour TFT instrument panel. There would a new electronics package, including the Ducati Safety Pack and three riding modes – Urban, Touring and Sport. The double barrel exhaust and quick shifter with slipper clutch gets added to the list.
Powered by the same 821cc Testastretta v – twin engine, it churns out 108bhp at 9,250rpm. The peak torque figure stands at 86Nm at 7,750rpm. It is expected that the 2018 Ducati Monster 821 would be priced in India at around INR 10 lakh.
