Xiaomi has launched a 4GB variant of its Redmi 5. Launched in November 2017, Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus featured 18:9 aspect ratio. Offering two variants – 2GB/16GB and 3GB/32GB, Redmi 5 was priced at CNY 799 and CNY 899. The amount, if translated to Indian standards, would be INR 7,800 and INR 8,800. Well, the 4GB RAM variant of Redmi 5 has been launched in China at a price of CNY 1,099 – approximately INR 11,000. Well, the storage space options remain the same, with Redmi 5 providing either 16GB/32GB options.
Sporting a 5.7 inch screen with a resolution of 1440×720 pixels, Redmi 5 has got Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 under the hood. Powered by a 3,300mAh battery, Xiaomi Redmi sports a 12MP rear camera and a 5MP sensor on the front side.
