Legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan’s character as ‘Guru’ was unveiled today from the much awaited upcoming film ‘Brahmastra’.
Karan Johar, on Thursday, unveiled the actor’s character poster on Instagram and introduced him saying, “Guru hai ganga gyaan ki. Kaate bhaav ka paash. Guru utha le astra jab, kare paap ka naash Ek aisi Roshni jismein hai… har andhere ko haraane ki Shakti. Here comes GURU! The Wise Leader who holds the PRABHASTRA: The Sword of Light!”
Amitabh also took to his handle to introduce his character to his fans in a post that read, “Darkness can be fought with more than one Light… The Light of Wisdom. The Light of Words and sometimes, with the Light of a Sword… Here is The Guru from Brahmāstra. Here is his mighty Prabhāstra .. The Sword of Light!”

The motion poster of the legendary actor features him bruised and bleeding as he holds up a fiery blue flaming sword.
The trailer for Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt-starrer will be unveiled on June 15. The film is directed by Ayan Mukerji.
