State police chief Anil Kant has ordered the formation of a special investigation team to investigate the cases registered at Kadavanthra and Kaladi police stations in connection with the murder of two women.
Kochi City Deputy Police Commissioner S. Sasidharan will lead the special investigation team. Perumbavoor ASP Anuj Paliwal will be the chief investigating officer.
Ernakulam Central Assistant Commissioner C. Jayakumar, Kadavanthra Station House Officer Baiju Jose, Kaladi Station House Officer Anup.NA are the investigating officers and Elamakara Police Station Sub Inspector Ain Babu and Kaladi Police Station Sub Inspector Bipin T.B. are the other investigating officers.
The investigation team will work under the direct supervision of the law and order department ADGP.
