Thousands paid homage to soldiers K V Ashwin, who was unfortunately killed in helicopter crash in Arunachal Pradesh.
The body brought to Cheruvathur last night was kept for public homage in the library. After an hour, the body was taken home in Kizhakkemuri.
Ashwin joined the army when he was 19 as an engineer in the electronics and mechanical department during his graduation. Ashwin, who came home for vacation during Onam, returned a month ago.
