In a brutal act to cattle, the tails of bull and buffalo were reportedly chopped off by miscreants in Kalikkavu, Malappuram. The brutality was committed against the cattle of Perukkadan Nassar and Kunnummal Shihab of Chekkadu Maliyekkal Valiya Parambu. The incident happened on Monday morning.

The tails of Nasser’s bull and Shihab’s buffalo were cut off. Nasser, who reached the stable in the morning, was the first to see the bull’s tail cut off. The miscreants left it in the stable by cutting off its tail. After this, the same incident of Shihab’s buffalo’s tail also being cut surfaced.

Immediately, Live Stock Inspector of Maliyekkal Veterinary Sub Center P. Neelakandan reached the spot and tied him up with medicine. Locals demanded that strict action be taken to identify the culprits in the incident.
