Rishab Shetty’s ‘Kantara’ has beaten the records of Yash starrer KGF Chapter 2, to become the highest grossing film in Karnataka. As of yesterday, Kantara has grossed Rs. 172 crores in Karnataka, as compared to Rs. 161.50 crores of KGF 2.
One commonality between KGF 2 and Kantara is that both come from the same production house, Hombale Films, which now has the two All Time Grossers in the state to their name.
Kantara is written and directed by Rishab Shetty. The film features Rishab Shetty, Sapthami Gowda, and Kishore Kumar G in pivotal roles.
