Three Indians, including a woman, drowned while walking on a frozen lake. The incident took place in Arizona, USA. The three drowned in Woods Canyon Lake in Cocanino County, Arizona on Monday around 3:35 p.m.
The deceased have been identified as Muddana Narayana Rao (49), Gokul Medisethi and Harita Muddana. They lived in Chandler, Arizona.
Haritha was pulled out of the lake alive and given first aid, but her life could not be saved. The bodies of Narayan and Gokul were recovered on Tuesday.
Muddana Narayana and Haritha hail from Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. Both are husband and wife. Gokul is a native of Visakhapatnam. They had come to visit the lake as part of Christmas celebrations. Narayana Rao is an employee of a software company. Both have two children.
