Palakkad: Congress MLA Shafi Parampil reacts to the fake identity card controversy. Shafi Parampil said that K Surendran is a person who is used to making baseless allegations.
Shafi Parampil also said that the accused in the case of money laundering should not teach him or the Congress about patriotism.
Surendran had alleged that the Palakkad MLA knowingly produced a fake identity card in the Youth Congress election. Shafi Parambil’s words were in response to this. Surendran has zero credibility. Shafi Parampil also asked Surendran to stop such small steps to get a place in the news.
They should not stop to measure the credibility of their process by making false accusations, including serious cases of trying to oust the candidate by paying them. Shafi Parampil added that K Surendran Youth Congress should not ride a horse outside to show that it has political life.
People from his own party had complained that Surendran had smuggled bribes. Such a person is now teaching them patriotism. The accused in the money laundering case should not teach himself or the Congress about patriotism. He also said that there will never be an opportunity to learn patriotism from the BJP.
Surendran alleged that making fake identity cards was a serious criminal offense and that there was the involvement of top Congress leaders behind it. An act similar to terrorism has taken place. It is suspected that Congress used such identity cards for Palakkad victory. Surendran also demanded that a comprehensive investigation be conducted immediately.
