After the video of the dance went viral, the local council (Jirga) ordered the killing of the child, according to which the girl’s family reportedly committed the murder.
Another girl who was in the same video was sentenced to death by the Jirga, but she escaped because the police intervened. After telling his family that there is no problem, he left this child with his family.
The police informed that the family members of the girl have been arrested in connection with the incident and the investigation is in progress to find those who ordered the killing of the girl. Meanwhile, the boys in the video are absconding.
