Thiruvananthapuram: The police have arrested three people in connection with the abduction of six-year-old Abigail Sara from Oyur.
Two men and one woman were arrested. They were arrested from Puliyara, Tamil Nadu.
They were caught when they came to eat at a hotel in Tenkasi Puliyar. Both the vehicles have been taken into custody.
The four-member gang was caught by the squad led by the Kollam Commissioner. The accused were caught on the fifth day after the incident.
Meanwhile, there is unconfirmed information that those arrested belong to a family.
One of them is directly related to the kidnapping. It is reported that the other three are assistants.
It is suggested that financial transactions with the child’s father are behind the crime. More information is becoming available. The police returned to Kerala with the accused.
