Transport Minister KB Ganesh Kumar has said that the protests at Sabarimala are to create roadblocks. The other will provide enough KSRTC buses. Do not block KSRTC buses on the way. Ganesh Kumar himself says that then the Sannidhanam will be less crowded. If necessary, KSRTC buses will be released for Sabarimala pilgrimage. The minister also informed that the police will be instructed not to block buses carrying pilgrims on the way. He pointed out that there is a situation where every policeman seems to block the bus on the way.
The other day, the minister announced that he will try to reduce the cost of KSRTC. Ganesh Kumar had said that it is not enough to increase the income, if the cost increases with it, it will be in trouble and the economics of the shop will be changed to tighten. KSRTC services will be stopped if the loss is incurred. The minister had said the other day that if the reason for the loss is due to the time schedule, the schedule will be fixed and the buses going to the inner region will not be stopped.
Ganesh pointed out that what he said about the corruption in KSRTC was based on what the senior trade union leaders and officials said, and that he had no dispute with former minister Antony Raju.
