Tripunithura: One more person died in a massive explosion at a firecracker warehouse in Tripunithura. Divakaran died while undergoing treatment. With this, the number of people killed in the explosion has increased to two.
Divakaran, who was being treated with the help of a ventilator in the ICU, underwent emergency surgery but could not be saved.
It was informed in the medical bulletin that Divakaran succumbed to death around 7 pm. But his other information is not available.
Vishnu, who was seriously injured, died in the morning. An accident occurred in Tripunithura that shook the entire country when a huge collection of firecrackers that was delivered to the firecracker warehouse exploded.

Initial information is that the firecrackers brought from Palakkad for the festival exploded while being unloaded from the vehicle. The fire broke out in the fireworks shop in the south.
Firecrackers brought for Puthikav temple festival exploded. About 45 nearby houses were also damaged. There was a vibration of explosion up to a kilometer away.
Explosive debris was found up to half a kilometer away. Residents of the area said that they heard the explosion from a distance of a kilometer.
The accident happened around 10:30 in the morning. All the nearby houses were destroyed. In the first phase, it was estimated that 25 houses were damaged.
But local residents said around 45 buildings were destroyed. The locals alleged that the explosives were stored without permission. The District Fire Force has also confirmed that there was no permission to store explosive materials.
