PM Narendra Modi and Ivanka Trump, daughter to US President Donald Trump unveiled India’s first social robot. Named ‘Mitra’, the robot can essentially act, assist and move. A ‘Made in India’ venture, ‘Mitra’ was developed by a Bangalore based startup, Ivento Robotics. The event took place during the eight edition of the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES), held at Hyderabad.
Ivento Robotics, which was founded by Balaji Viswanathan, though is only one year old, is looking forward to expand the presence of the robot across banks, hotels and corporate offices.
