Bajaj is a name to reckon, when it is about the entry level premium motorcycle segments in India. The company, however seems to be putting more efforts into bringing up a new engine. Touted to be a new 400cc DOHC (Double Over Head Camshaft) engine, the upcoming product could produce 40bhp, while featuring an in house developed ECU as well as a triple spark technology and transmission.
All these extensive works might land up the company in coming up with something like a Pulsar RS400, or an Avenger. Close allies with the company report that by the mid of 2018, Bajaj would be unveiling its new engine and their plans with this all new powered unit.
