BSNL will roll out the 4G services in Kerala from January onwards. Informing the same, BSNL officials maintained that the first circle o rolling out 4G LTE phase in the country will kick start with Kerala, and will be followed by Odisha later on. As far as the 4G services are concerned with, BSNL 4G services will be powered by some 10,000 mobile towers by the month of March 2018.
Adding that their primary concern will be on areas, where the 3G penetration is low, BSNL is sure to give tough competition to the private sector companies such as Airtel, Vodafone, Idea and Jio.
