WhatsApp users across the country met with an unusual error after January 13 midnight. A whole lot of customers complained of an error message popping, every time they open the app. The displayed error states that the version of ‘WhatsApp’ was obsolete and asked users to update the app. However, when users entered Play Store to update the app, they were shocked to know that they were using the updated version of WhatsApp. As a number of users had taken social media corners to complain about the error, it caught the attention of the officials.
Soon then, WhatsApp officials came with an explanation stating that the problem occurred due to the distribution of the app. Adding that such issues were out of their control, they however maintained that they would soon resolve the bug issue.
