KSCSTE (Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment) has invited applications from women researchers under the ‘Back to Lab’ fellowship programme. The fellowship is aimed at giving post doctoral fellowships to women, who have had a break in their career. That means, the fellowship will give a chance for women research aspirants for making a reentry to their research programme.

KSCSTE Back to Lab Fellowship for Women Researchers:

The fellowship is been given for a period of 3 years, while the selected candidates would be required to work with a reputed research institute. Unemployed women of Kerala origin with a PG/PhD in Basic as well as Applied Science or Professional Courses with a minimum of 60 percent marks, are eligible for applying under the scheme. The scheme also mandates the candidates not to cross the age limit of 45 years.

The monthly Research Fellowship is INR 20,000 per month with 10% HRA for the first two years. From the third year onwards, the fellowship amount will be INR 25,000 plus 10% HRA. Besides it, an annual contingency grant of INR 20,000 too is been given to candidates.
