NORKA Registration begun for Expatriates who want to Return from Kerala

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: NORKA registration has been launched for expatriates who want to return to Kerala after being trapped abroad. Pregnancy, people with coronary illnesses, visa expiration, those who are stuck on a visitor’s visa, and those suffering from various other procedures are considered.

NORKA officials said no one should be in a hurry as registrants have no priority. WWW. Must be registered in the website NORKAROOTS.ORG.

The government has already announced the priority list and released the guidelines. Older persons, pregnant women with coronary disease

The first step for the returning expatriates is to register in Norka. Also produce a certificate that Covid is negative. The link is expected to be activated by midnight but has not yet been activated. I hope to register on the link today.

The Government has provided all facilities for the returning expatriates. About three and a half million to five lakh expats are expected to return. The government has set up a quarantine facility for two lakh people.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has opened control rooms to repatriate the expatriates.

Indians stranded overseas will be brought back on a special plane. Estimates of those wanting to return have begun. Everyone will be taken to the nearest airport.

They will be brought to their homes after observation. The Chief Secretaries have been instructed to prepare all the arrangements.
