India has registered yet another 20k plus daily count day figure. During the past 24 hours, a total of 24,879 fresh cases were reported in India. Though stands shy of the 25K mark, this happened to be the highest daily toll number till date in India. The country has also registered 487 new deaths during the last 24 hours. With this, the pandemic has claimed a total of 21,129 lives from India so far. The total number of Covid positive cases in India has also gone past 7 lakh figure. Till date, at total of 7,67,296 cases have been reported in India.
As was informed by the Union Health Ministry, the recovery rate of the country has reached 61.5%. The total number of active cases in India stands at 2,69,789, whereas 4,76,378 have recovered from Covid 19. Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Delhi continue to lead India’s Corona chart.
