Customs seized 2.049 kg of gold from six passengers on a SpiceJet flight from Ras Al Khaimah last night. Four of the six passengers were women. The gold was smuggled in undercoat. Assistant Commissioner SB Anil, Superintendents G Sudhir, R Baiju, P Ramachandran, U Pushpa, Rajiv Ranjan, Inspectors Bal Mukund, Ramkumar and Havildar S Baiju were in the customs team.
