During the past 24 hours, a total of 61,537 fresh Covid cases were reported in India. With last day’s figure, India’s Covid tally stands 20,88,612 to its credit. On the other hand, India has also managed to add 48,900 cases of recovery during the past 24 hours. The country has registered 933 new deaths during the last 24 hours. With this, the pandemic has claimed a total of 42,518 lives from India so far. Ministry of Health informs that the active cases in India stands at 6,19,088, whereas a total of 14,27,006 got cured/discharged/migrated.
The recovery rate of the country stands at 68.32%, giving a strong positive note to the country’s fight against Covid 19. ICMR statistics show that the country has tested a 5,98,778 samples last day. With this, the total number of samples tested by India, has reached 2,33,87,171.
