Kerala has registered a total of 1420 new Covid positive cases. The number of samples that turned negative stands at 1715. With this, the total number of covid cases in Kerala has reached 33,110, while the state’s total active cases have reached 12,109. A total of 20,866 people have recovered from the disease. Amongst those who have turned positive today, 60 are from overseas, while 108 came from other states.
The state has registered 1216 cases through transmission in the past 24 hours. Out of those who caught the disease through transmission, the sources of 92 are yet to be traced down. Incidentally, the state has also recorded 4 more Covid death cases, taking the tally to 106.

During the last 24 hours, Kerala has tested a total of 26,981 samples – a record figure. Till date, Kerala has tested a total of 9,63,632 samples. The results of 6,777 test results are yet to come.
