Kerala has registered a total of 1,564 new Covid positive cases. The number of samples that turned negative stands at 760. With this, the total number of covid cases in Kerala has reached 39,710, while the state’s total active cases have reached 13,846. A total of 25,686 people have recovered from the disease. Amongst those who have turned positive today, 60 are from overseas, while 100 came from other states.
The state has registered 1,380 cases through transmission in the past 24 hours. Out of those who caught the disease through transmission, the sources of 98 are yet to be traced down. Incidentally, the state has also recorded 3 more Covid death cases, taking the tally to 129.
