Amazon Prime Video, the leading OT platform, has announced the release dates of the new Malayalam movies coming through their platform post their theatrical release.
The release dates of Aashiq Abu directorial and Tovino Thomas starrer ‘Naradan’, Shane Nigam starrer ‘Veyil’ and Joju George, Vinayakan, Kunchacko Boban and Dileesh Pothen’s starrer Kamal KM’s ‘Pada’ have been announced.
‘Pada’ will be streaming from March 30 (tomorrow), ‘Naradan’ on April 8 and ‘Veyil’ on April 15.
‘Naradan’ is a dramatic journey of Chandraprakash (Tovino Thomas), a popular news anchor in the media world who is desperate to prove his worth. When a rival media group offers him a new job, he rebrands himself into a loud, tyrannical journalist, catering to those looking for news theatrics.
Helmed by Sarath Menon, ‘Veyil’ is about a troubled youngster raised by a widowed mother. It also features the complexities of his relationships with his brother, his best friend and others.
‘Pada’ directed by Kamal K.M. is a film is based on a true incident that occurred in 1996 when the then Palakkad collector was held hostage. The film was released on 11th March 2022 and opened to critical acclaim.
