The makers of the film ‘Iravin Nizhal’ have finally announced the release date. The experimental film, directed by Radhakrishnan Parthiban will hit the theatres on June 24.
The music by AR Rahman, is said to be the world’s first single-shot non-linear film. The film stars Parthiban himself in the lead, with Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Birgida Saga, Robo Shankar and Anandhakrishnan. The film entered the Asia Book of Records and India Book of Records for being the first Asian single-shot film.
The melodious song Maayava Thooyava, penned by Madhan Karky and sung by Shreya Ghoshal, has already won appreciation from fans. Parthiban is now planning to hold a grand audio launch, celebrating the film’s composer AR Rahman, on June 5, in Chennai.
Oscar-winning sound designer Craig Mann of Whiplash fame has done the sound design of this film while another Academy Award winner Cottalango Leon is its VFX supervisor.
Iravin Nizhal is about a 50-year-old man looking back on his life, and showcases the different stages of this person’s life.
