New Delhi: The price of LPG cylinders has been hiked as people are suffering due to rising fuel prices in the country. The price has been hiked by Rs 266 per commercial cylinder. With this, the price of a 19 kg cylinder crossed Rs 2,000. The price of a cylinder for domestic use has not been increased. The new price is Rs. 2000.5 in Delhi, Rs. 1950 in Mumbai, Rs. 2073.50 in Kolkata, and Rs. 2133 in Chennai.
The price of a cylinder for domestic use was hiked last month. The price hike was at Rs 15 per cylinder. The price of a cylinder for domestic use has increased four times in the last two months. At the same time, fuel prices in the country have continued to rise. Petrol and diesel prices have been hiked today by 48 paise each. With this, the petrol price crossed Rs 112 in Kerala while Diesel costs Rs 105 a liter.
