Thiruvananthapuram: A human skeleton was found inside the Kariyavattam campus. The skeleton was found inside an old water authority tank attached to the Botany Department.
The skeleton was first spotted by a campus employee. Kazhakoottam Police and Kazhakoottam Fire Force reached the spot and conducted an inspection.
The skeleton was found in a tank used by the water authority years ago. The skeleton was found lying at a depth of 15 feet through the manual hole of the water tank.
As the entire area was covered with forest, no one used to go here. The fire brigade reached the spot but returned as they could not get inside the tank without adequate security.
Kazhakootam police said that after the arrival of the forensic department on Thursday morning, the skeleton will be taken out with the help of the fire brigade.
Only after this more information will be clear.
