Ten people were injured in an accident where a KSRTC bus rammed into the back of a lorry at Kalamassery. The KSRTC Superfast bus which was coming from Coimbatore to Thiruvananthapuram met with an accident.
The accident took place near Kalamassery junction on the national highway at around 3.30 am on Tuesday. The KSRTC bus coming from behind rammed into the lorry while stopping and changing the tire due to a punctured tyre.
Three people, including the driver who was changing the tire of the lorry, were seriously injured in the accident. They were admitted to a nearby private hospital and seven other injured persons were admitted to Kalamassery Medical College.
