Alappuzha: A running KSRTC bus caught fire. A bus going from Kayamkulam to Alappuzha caught fire.
The bus was completely gutted in the fire. The accident took place in front of MSM College.
But the preliminary information is that the passengers were not injured. The driver noticed the smell coming from the bus and immediately stopped the bus and asked the passengers to get out.
According to the eyewitness, the bus caught fire after this. A major accident was averted due to the timely intervention of the driver.
