Thiruvananthapuram: A police case has been filed against BJP leader and actor Krishna Kumar, who participated in the program declaring solidarity with Israel.
The case has been filed against charges of unlawful assembly, incitement, obstruction and creating danger. The case was prosecuted by Christian Pauravali.
The event was held near the Palayam Martyrs Mandapam in the evening of October 15. CEFI Diocese President Bishop Dr. A case was also registered against Mobin Mathew Kunnampally.
At the same time, Krishna Kumar came forward against taking the case. Krishnakumar asked how criticizing the brutal attack by terrorists in Israel on October 7 could be a call to action.

Krishnakumar said that the police interpreted the ceremony in the above manner as a peaceful candle lighting ceremony.
About 100 people peacefully lit candles and prayed in the presence of 10 policemen including a CI rank officer.
Krishnakumar also said that prior permission was taken for the event. Shouldn’t a case be filed against Tharoor who participated in the Muslim League rally calling for death to Israel?
Has the Pinarayi government filed a case against Rajmohan Unnithan, who called for the execution of the Prime Minister of Israel without trial at a Congress rally,” Krishnakumar asked.
